Before becoming the owner of the multi-million business Bullet proof, and receiving recognition from some of the top health magazines and organizations, Dave Asprey was yet another fat guy, looking for ways to become slim.
But after trying all the ‘recommended’ health tips with zero success, he decided enough is enough and took action, – A decision that he deems to be the foundation of his success. He says, “It all started because I weighed 300 pounds, and I was tired of feeling old when I was young.”

Dave is recognized worldwide as the father of biohacking. He has invented a solution that has since become a necessity for everyone.
In a nutshell, Dave believes that biohacking is the foundation of taking control of your biology. He says, “Biohacking is the art and science of changing the environment around you and inside of you so that you have control over your own biology.”
The truth about losing weight

In his quest to lose weight, Dave says he did exactly what the doctor said, eat healthy and do exercises, but they didn’t work. He, therefore, concluded that losing weight isn’t just about eating healthy foods and doing your exercises. There’s more to it.
He says, “I figured out that it’s about the type of fat you eat, and the types of carbs you eat, and you have to cycle in and out of ketosis.” So, if you eat bad fats or inflammatory proteins, you’ll fail. But surprisingly, you’ll have to eat more fats!
According to the results of his research, Dave says that going vegan is never the solution to losing weight. In fact, he says that sticking to a plant oils only diet, is only going to make you weak, infertile and less healthy.
He says, “Vegan diets only make you old and weak.”
Be willing to do what it takes—even when you don’t understand

Before discovering how to hack his own biology, Dave says that he was at one of the lowest points of his life. He was just out of a bad relationship and had lost a $6 million fortune. But this situation is what inspired him to find the solution he needed for Bullet Proof, his company.
He decided to treat his biology like internet hacking, and worked on his biology without fully understanding what was going to expect on the other side. Therefore, to master your biology, you need to have the desire to be healthy even in times when you don’t really understand what will happen next – by any means necessary.
Dave says, “Biohacking means that you are willing to do what it takes to master your biology by any means necessary.”
